    Instead of visiting three different stores and entering your information three different times, you open New Era, surf the web and on our store to find any item on the merchant website — from a game box at Best Buy to a handmade purse on Walmart — and add them to a single shopping cart (Merchant Direct Shopping).

    You also have the option of selecting item from local merchants on our store (On Store Shopping). One more click, and you’re finished.

    How long will it take to deliver my packages?

    Lead time from the purchasing of your order to the final customer delivery (including merchant delivery, shipment to your country, customs clearance and delivery to final destination).

    The shopping lead times are:

    • Lead time for account registration and placing an order : 1-2 working days.
    • Lead time for Revision, handling and shipping: 3-4 working days.
    • Lead time for customs clearance: 1 or more working days (depending on the product type).
    • Lead time for Distribution: 2-4 working days (major cities).
    • In 90% of the shipments, the total transit time is within 7-10 working days (customs clearance not included).
    • The package has no additional charges after your final invoice.

    My Account lets you manage your account online with us 24/7. That means you can track your latest order, make a payment or arrange a return whenever you like. It really is up to you.

    Below is a step-by-step guide to what My Account offers you:

     

    Dashboard

    If you pay for your items using ‘spread the cost’ option, the dashboard section shows your minimum payment and due date. You can also see your referral link to be copied and shared with friends and family. There’s even a message centre for your personal updates.

     

    Orders

    Use this section to track your orders, from the warehouse to your home! If you see a link to the UPS, DHL or EMS website it means you can track your delivery.

    This section also shows on the order detail page your minimum payment and due date. You can also see your credit limit, current balance, current interest rate and next statement date.

     

    Downloads

    Use this section to view and access all downloadable orders.

     

    Addresses

    In this section you can add or amend the details in your shipping and billing addresses.

    Just so you know: For security reasons, if you have requested for credit you will have to provide a proof of your Addresses to the financial service or amend your current addresses to synchronize, until you have made a payment off your account.

     

    Refund Request

    Use this section to view status of your refund request! You can also request a refund by calling the Office!

     

    Support Center

    Have an issue with our product or service? File a support ticket. Need assistance with your orders? Open and track an issue you have placed with our support center.

    Use this section to arrange a return of a faulty item online by choosing the option that best suits you! You can also make a return via Office drop and it’s free!

     

    Make a Payment

    If you pay for your items using your NewEra Account you can use this section to make payments off your account online using Bank deposit, Mobile Money, Cash / Check at Office, Bitcoin and debit cards with New Era Wallet.

    You can also make payments off your Credit orders through the ‘Wallet transfer’ tab. You’ll find it within the ‘Make a Payment’ page. You can also see how much is left to pay off each item and how much estimated interest you’ll be charged.

    View your most recent transactions and get access to your statements. It’s a great way to keep in control!

     

    Account Details

    To correct or change any details, overtype in the relevant boxes, then click ‘Submit’.

    This is where you can change your current password. It’s a good idea to use the password strength indicator to create a password that’s strong. A mixture of letters and numbers should give you a password that’s safe and secure.

     

    Custom Orders

    Custom orders are great for large items or items you want that aren't sold on the stores we have on our platform. With Custom Order, it’s super simple to create order for your customs.

    The New Era Consolidation service is designed for customers who make purchases from different merchants or in various vendors in the United States, United Kingdom and / or China and they need to optimize their costs. Our consolidation service allows our customers to accumulate purchases on a period of 7 days. After the consolidation date, the service groups and / or combines packages sorting the category of the products bought and customs laws of the respective countries in order to make the shipments as economical and effective as possible for our customers.

    Our package consolidation service is very useful, since by combining packages you are only charged for the shipping rate only once. Then you would pay the regular rate for all the other additional weight. But sometimes it may be more convenient to ship products in several shipments of categories with similar taxes than in a single shipment with many different taxes into a single box for the single shipment pay the highest tax of all products that go in.

    What items are prohibited and can’t be delivered through New Era?

    New Era cannot deliver certain items for legal or safety reasons. Be sure to check the following information before you order a product.

    LEGAL RESTRICTIONS
    Some products are prohibited due to exporting country, importing country or transportation regulations.

    SAFETY RESTRICTIONS

    Products that cannot be safely shipped include flammable products or dangerous items, e.g., products that are toxic or that may catch fire or explode during shipment. This category includes some everyday products such as aerosols and certain cosmetics.


    What happens to prohibited items?

    If you order products that cannot be legally exported or that cannot legally be sold (such as marijuana or other illegal drugs), we are not able to return those items to the merchant or ship them to an alternative address. You should be aware that they are subject to seizure by law enforcement authorities who may investigate further.

    Simply request a return online via My Account. All you need to do is:

    1. Log in to My Account>
    2. Select the ‘Orders’ tab>
    3. Find your order and click ‘Request Refund’ to select the item(s) that you wish to return>
    4. Follow the refund instructions, include your return option to the ‘Reason in detail’ field and you’re done!>

     

    All our returns services are subject to the store’s return policy and any costs involve are incurred by the customer; please reuse the original packaging where possible. Please see below for the different return options:

    Pickup+ - Fast, convenient and perfect for those on-the-go; there are over 500 Pickup+ bus terminal in the GH and most are open late, seven days a week.

    Post Office (up to 10kg) - Return items easily via the Post Office. Please note, any return charge will be incurred by the customer.

    Find your order, to reveal the latest information on your order status at the top of the ‘order detail’ page.

    If your item is being shipped by UPS, DHL or EMS you’ll see an icon and a tracking number then click 'Track' that will take you to their website, once your item has been dispatched.

    You’ll be able to get up to date tracking information and make amendments to your delivery if available.

    Cancelling an order is easy, just follow the steps below:

    Access the ‘Orders’ tab in My Account. (You will need to log in if you haven’t already)

    Find your order, then ‘click here' to cancel this order. You will then see a confirmation message to confirm if it’s been possible.

     

    Please note, your order may already have been processed and be on its way to you. You have the legal right to cancel your order before it’s processed. This also apply to personalized products or certain audio/video equipment/computer software.

  • 3. How do I unlock My Account?
     

    If your account has been locked due to unsuccessful attempts to sign in to your account, you’ll need to reset your password so that you can continue to shop.

     

    Just follow the simple steps below and you’ll soon be browsing all your favourite things again.

    Click on ‘Forgotten your password?’

    Complete the form and click continue.

    We’ll send you an email containing a link to the password reset page.

    Please note: If you don’t receive an email, please check your Junk Email folder before contacting us.

    Click on the link in the email and complete the form.

     

    It’s really important that your new password is secure so please make sure it:

    Have at least 8 characters

    Include at least one lower case letter

    Include at least one upper case letter

    Include at least one number

    Once you’ve updated your password you’ll be able to go shopping at NewEra right away. If you haven’t attempted to log on to your account, please get in touch with us immediately.

  • 4. How can I change my delivery date, time or delivery address?
     

    We can’t guarantee a change in delivery due to timing and where the item may be coming from, but you can try using the ‘Create Ticket’ on our website in the ‘Support Center’ page within My Account.

     

    • Select the 'Support Center' tab in My Account.
    • Then click 'Create Ticket' to reveal the query form. You can apply to request change to information on your order delivery date, time or delivery address.
    • You’ll be able to get your request resolve by one of our support team and make amendments to your delivery.

     

    If the item has already been dispatched for delivery, or it could be coming direct from a supplier. You won’t be able to change the delivery in this case. Please note, the options available to you will all depend on which time you apply to make these changes.

  • 5. How do I return an item?
     

    Simply request a return online via My Account. All you need to do is:

    1. Log in to My Account>
    2. Select the ‘Orders’ tab>
    3. Find your order and click ‘Request Refund’ to select the item(s) that you wish to return>

    How does the New Era Package Consolidation work?

    The New Era consolidation service is available to all customers. The New Era package Consolidation Service simply combines several packages into a single shipment. Our package Consolidation Service is very useful as you will be charged only once for the shipment, although you are shipping multiple shipments, and you will pay the less than regular rate for all additional weight. The restricted items (Dangerous goods) will be consolidated as long as customs laws and airlines permit it. For detailed information on restricted items, consult your local customs office.

     

    What is the fee for this Consolidation Service?

    The consolidation is free to all New Era Customers; including repacking (if necessary).

     

    Can I send packages before the consolidation date?

    Yes. If you wish to receive a package, or packages, before the consolidation date simply go to My Account and create a ticket on the shipments you want to be sent and those packages will be consolidated and sent to you. You will be charged the express fee ONLY if you are requesting shipment of packages before the consolidation date. The remaining packages will be shipped to you on the original consolidation date. Once the consolidation both automatically or on demand has been made and closed, no alterations could be made to add more items or to extract items on the consolidated package.

     

    How Do I receive information about my consolidations?

    When your packages are consolidated and shipped, you will receive an email when your packages have been shipped. You can also see in My Account / Orders the tracking information on your shipments. During the time of consolidation you will be able to see the information of the packages arriving for consolidation in My Account / Orders.

     

    Items we may not consolidate

    Items may be considered ineligible for consolidation service because they are fragile or their shapes are not suitable.

    Package protection

    Basically, we use the same package as they arrive at our storehouse. We try to use the most appropriate sized box for your items. In the event that we don't have an appropriate sized box at our storehouse, we will use a box that we consider suitable from a different source.

    However, if the items were only put in a bag, we may use a cardboard box in order to prevent any damage and lost items. Anyway, we use packaging supplies in order to protect the package from possible damage that could occur in route to its destination.

    Orders

    Use this section to track your orders, from the warehouse to your home! If you see a link to the UPS, DHL or EMS website it means you can track your delivery.

    This section also shows on the order detail page your minimum payment and due date. You can also see your credit limit, current balance, current interest rate and next statement date.

     

    Downloads

    Use this section to view and access all downloadable orders.

     

    Addresses

    In this section you can add or amend the details in your shipping and billing addresses.

    Just so you know: For security reasons, if you have requested for credit you will have to provide a proof of your Addresses to the financial service or amend your current addresses to synchronize, until you have made a payment off your account.

     

    Refund Request

    Use this section to view status of your refund request! You can also request a refund by calling the Office!

     

    Support Center

    Have an issue with our product or service? File a support ticket. Need assistance with your orders? Open and track an issue you have placed with our support center.

    Use this section to arrange a return of a faulty item online by choosing the option that best suits you! You can also make a return via Office drop and it’s free!

     

    Make a Payment

    If you pay for your items using your NewEra Account you can use this section to make payments off your account online using Bank deposit, Mobile Money, Cash / Check at Office, Bitcoin and debit cards with New Era Wallet.

    You can also make payments off your Credit orders through the ‘Wallet transfer’ tab. You’ll find it within the ‘Make a Payment’ page. You can also see how much is left to pay off each item and how much estimated interest you’ll be charged.

    View your most recent transactions and get access to your statements. It’s a great way to keep in control!

     

    Account Details

    To correct or change any details, overtype in the relevant boxes, then click ‘Submit’.

    This is where you can change your current password. It’s a good idea to use the password strength indicator to create a password that’s strong. A mixture of letters and numbers should give you a password that’s safe and secure.

     

    Custom Orders

    Custom orders are great for large items or items you want that aren't sold on the stores we have on our platform. With Custom Order, it’s super simple to create order for your customs.

  • 3. What if my delivery is late?
     

    Sometimes we experience issues that cause a slight delay with your delivery. We work hard to recover this so that you’re not affected, but if we don’t deliver when we said we would then we’re really sorry.

    Where possible we will inform you of any delay and you can check the current status of your delivery in ‘My Account’:

    • Select the 'Recent Orders' tab in My Account.
    • Find your order, to reveal the latest information on your order status at the top of the ‘order detail’ page.
    • If your item is being shipped by UPS, DHL or EMS you’ll see an icon and a tracking number then click 'Track' that will take you to their website, once your item has been dispatched.

     

    We’ll automatically refund any failed delivery charges so there’s no need to contact us.

  • 4. The item I bought was part of a promotional offer, what do I need to return?
     

    When you return an item we will identify if it is part of a multibuy deal such as ‘3 for 2’ to determine if the offer still applies. If the offer is broken, for example, you return one of your 3 for 2 items and keep the free one we will automatically reverse the offer and charge you the correct selling price for the items you keep.

    Here are some examples to help explain this further:

    Example 1 – You return the free item

    • You spend a total of GHS 24 on a 3 for 2 multibuy offer.
    • The 3 for 2 multibuy is made up of: 2 items priced at GHS 12 and 1 item priced at GHS 10 (this becomes free as it’s the cheapest).
    • On your statement you will see 2 items showing GHS 12 charge and 1 free item showing no charge.
    • If you return the free item then no refund will be applied as the item was not charged.

     

    Example 2 - You return one of the items you paid for

    • You spend a total of GHS 24 on a 3 for 2 multibuy offer.
    • The 3 for 2 multibuy is made up of: 2 items priced at GHS 12 and 1 item priced at GHS 10 (this becomes free as it’s the cheapest).
    • On your statement you will see 2 items showing GHS 12 charge and 1 free item showing no charge.
    • If you return one of the GHS 12 items, then a refund is credited to your account.
    • Because the 3 for 2 offer has now been broken, we will also automatically debit your account for the original ‘free’ item at GHS 10.
    • Your final spend would be GHS 22.
  • 5. What if I miss my delivery?
     

    If you miss the delivery we will leave a card with contact details on it for you to call and arrange your delivery for another day, this may incur charges. To avoid it you should nominate someone to accept item on your behave prior to the delivery date.

    Alternatively you can go to My Account:

    • Access the ‘Orders’ tab on My Account (you will need to log in if you haven’t already).
    • Find your order, to reveal the latest information on your order status at the top of the ‘order detail’ page.
    • If your item is being shipped by UPS, DHL or EMS you’ll see an icon and a tracking number then click 'Track' that will take you to their website, once your item has been dispatched.

     

    You’ll be able to get up to date tracking information and make amendments to your delivery if available.

  • 6. How long does it take to get a refund after I’ve returned my item?
     

    The reimbursement will be made within 7 working days from when we receive your item back for your account to be credited. You can check the status of your return via Request Refund tab in My Account.

    If you purchased your item using your NewEra Wallet you can check to see if your returned item has been credited by visiting Transactions in My Account.

    If your area is affected by adverse weather conditions, you may experience delays to deliveries and collections. If there is a problem we will post news of impacted postcodes here.

    Our delivery drivers always work hard to get your order to you on time, as promised. If we are unable to deliver your parcel we will call ahead to let you know and re-arrange another collection or delivery time. If you have not received a call from us, your order will be on its way to you.

    You can also check the progress of your order 24/7 via the 'My Account' page.

    This usually means a note will have been posted on your order page to let you know the location of your parcel. Please check the note for details.

    The item may be in the secure delivery location that you specified as a safe place or the courier may have left the parcel with a neighbour.

     

    You can track your parcel 24/7 via My Account:

    • Select the 'Orders' tab in My Account
    • Find your order, to reveal the latest information on your order status at the top of the ‘order detail’ page.
    • If your item is being shipped by UPS, DHL or EMS you’ll see an icon and a tracking number then click 'Track' that will take you to their website, once your item has been dispatched.
  • 12. How do I know when my item is out for delivery?
     
    • Select ‘Orders’ in My Account.
    • Click ‘Track’ and you will see your order status move from ‘processed’ to ‘dispatched’.
    • Under the Latest Tracking Information, you will see real time tracking status of ‘Dispatched By’, ‘Available to deliver’ ‘Loaded onto Van’ or ’Passed to Courier’.

     

    When the item has been delivered your order status will move from ‘dispatched’ to ‘delivered’.

  • 13. Will you refund my delivery charge?
     

    We will refund the delivery charge where all the goods in an order are faulty. We will refund the standard delivery charge if you cancel your order under Our Consumer Contracts Regulations. Please view our Returns Policy for a full explanation of your rights when returning goods.

  • 14. What do I need to do before returning an item?
     

    Before arranging your return, please check the Approval Guarantee checklist below:

    • Items must be returned within 2 days of receipt.
    • Please ensure the product is unused, complete and safely wrapped in its original packaging and that any security tags are still intact.
    • Please complete the returned goods note for each item you are returning and place into the delivery bag with the items.
    • Stick the returns address label over the original label.

     

    All items will be inspected upon return to ensure they meet these criteria.
